Professionally, I am the weekend morning anchor and lead Education Station reporter for WKYC 3News, Cleveland's NBC affiliate.

I'm an anchor/reporter combination with a producer mindset. I say this because I started off as a producer who slowly transitioned to on camera work.  My professional background includes production and on-air work in television, radio, and digital media.

My strongest asset as a media leader is my ability to build solid foundations for new or unstructured media properties. For example, I had the amazing opportunity to create, launch, produce and host the Rising initiative on WKYC-TV.  Rising was a weekly feature segment telling the stories of people in Northeast Ohio who have overcome obstacles to achieve success and are inspiring others to do the same.  In 2018, Rising won a regional Emmy Award and national Salute to Excellence Award from the National Association of Black Journalists for a story highlighting the determination of a high school student with cerebral palsy who dreamed of making his school's basketball team. The Rising narrative is also a major theme of my speaking engagements.  I'm all about helping others "Rise."

Personally, I am a wife, mother and ordained minister with a passion for faith, family, media, and serving the needs of women.
